Traditionally chestnuts are roasted over hot coals or barbeque in a special chestnut roasting pan. It has holes in the base to let the nuts toast to perfection. This steel pan is especially suited to roasting chestnuts over hot coals but will work equally well over a barbeque or hotplate.
